The next couple of months are going to be very busy for Samsung Electronics, at least if we are to believe the flurry of reports about new phones and tablets coming from the Korean company. Today, the Samsung experts at SamMobile brought us news of a next generation Galaxy X Cover, and a new series of Galaxy Tab devices that will be unveiled at MWC. Yesterday, we’ve got the first information about the Galaxy Note 8, a stylus-equipped tablet that will join the Note family soon. Here’s another new device that Samsung is working on – the Samsung Fonblet, codenamed GT-I9152. Before you dismiss this report as unfounded rumor, you should know that Samsung has indeed registered the Fonblet trademark back in December, so at least part of SamMobile’s story is backed by proof. The site claims that a trusted “insider” advised that the Fonblet will be very similar to the Galaxy Player 5.8, a media player that is currently available in South Korea. The Fonblet will feature a 5.8-inch display, and might be a dual-SIM device, judging from the code number. SamMobile says that the Galaxy Fonblet will come to Europe in Pebble White, and that it will be similar in terms of specs with the Galaxy Player 5.8. This claim is interesting, given that the 5.8 display of the media player only has a qHD resolution, and quite a small PPI density. Nevertheless, we’ve seen stranger moves from Samsung lately (think Galaxy S2 Plus), so we can’t rule out any possibility.
